Ariel Bardach

Ariel Bardach is a specialist in Medical Clinic from the National University of La Plata (UNLP) and the College of Physicians of the Province of Buenos Aires, Master in Epidemiology (2004) from the School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine in London, England, and Doctor of Medicine from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA). He is director of the Center for Research in Epidemiology and Public Health (CIESP) and independent researcher of the National Council of Scientific and Technical Research (CONICET) of Argentina.
He currently works as a researcher in the Department of Health Technology Assessment and Health Economics and the Cochrane IECS Centre. Likewise, he participates in various teaching activities at the institute.
Since 2020, he has joined the Bernard Lown Cardiovascular Health Program at the Harvard THChan School of Public Health, in Boston, United States.
His areas of interest include systematic reviews, epidemiology of non-communicable and communicable diseases, synthesis of scientific evidence (health technology assessments and systematic reviews), global health, environmental risk factors and geo-referencing analysis. He has published more than 70 articles in peer-reviewed journals.
