The Chamber of Deputies declared a project from the Center for Implementation and Innovation in Health Policies (CIIPS) to be of interest.

The Argentine Chamber of Deputies declared the project “Analysis and Visualization of Gender Inequalities in Mortality in Argentina,” developed at the CIIPS of the IECS, to be of national interest. The initiative was presented at the informational meeting of the Women and Diversity Committee, following an invitation from Deputy Pablo Yedlin, the project's sponsor.

On World Lung Cancer Day, the scientific evidence generated at the IECS helps to raise awareness of the issue in the media.

In the context of this date, national and international media outlets disseminated a study conducted by the Department of Health Technology Assessment (ETESA) of the IECS. The research warns of the absence of a national program to prevent and detect lung cancer early, the leading cause of cancer death in Argentina.
