EROS (EARLY REVIEW ORGANIZING SOFTWARE)

Those who conduct systematic reviews know that the early stages of this type of study can be complex in terms of logistics and administration.

The process of selecting studies to be included in a review (both in the title or abstract phase and in the full-text selection phase) can be complicated because, it is generally carried out in duplicate (two different people evaluate the studies to be included).

The IECS developed the software called EROS (Early Review Organizing Software) to improve the methodological quality of systematic reviews and save organizational time, distribute work equitably, facilitate peer review of citations and, therefore, reduce humans errors that occur due to disorganization.

EROS has successfully fulfilled its mission, which is why our team is currently participating together with the COVIDENCE team, the software that has now replaced it.
