Code of Ethics and Conflict of Interests
The aim of IECS is to create an environment to promote research, develop studies and provide training, where the gap between scientific knowledge and decision making can be narrowed. This may only be achieved by applying the highest ethical and moral standards by which our organization abides.
Our Code of Ethics includes the principles and values, which are the pillars for IECS work. And they have become the guiding principles for all our members, who have committed to fully comply with them.
You may access the Code of Ethics by clicking here.
On the other hand, our Policy about Financial Conflicts of Interest (access here) explicitly describes the procedures and requirements that the IECS personnel must follow whenever they participate, or intend to participate, in research work, in order to ensure that the design, the execution and the presentation of studies and reports are not biased or conditioned by eventual conflicts of interest.
