In order to carry out actions related to the implementation of policies and strategies key to our organization and to implement the institutional strategy, the Steering Team has created a framework to work in committees.
These are working teams with specific purposes, made up of members from the institution, whose purpose is to attract those individuals who are not part of the Steering Team and have them collaborate with management tasks, guiding the Steering Team so they can make informed decisions regarding the organization.
At present, IECS has two Committees already working:
- The Equal Rights, Diversity and Gender Equity Committee (from the Spanish, Comité por la Igualdad de Derechos, la Diversidad y la Equidad de Género, CIDDEG), which was created in 2020 and promotes an organizational culture based on the principle of equity thus fostering an inclusive and violence-free work environment.
- The Innovation and Strategy Committee (from the Spanish, Comité de Innovación y Estrategia, CIE), created in 2022 with the purpose of identifying improvement opportunities, analyzing and accompanying projects that promote a positive change in the institution.
