The Institute for Clinical and Healthcare Effectiveness (IECS) is launching a regional call for professionals working in the management of health research funds in Latin America. We seek to form a group of members who promote Bridge to Excellence Grants & Research Management, a pioneering community of practice that connects specialists to share experiences, resources, and best practices.
This project, led by the IECS with support from the NIAID/NIH (G11AI183317), aims to strengthen and professionalize research management in the region.
What we offer:

Who are we looking for?
- Professionals with experience in managing health research funds (ideally with international funds: NIH, USAID, Horizon Europe, etc.).
- Who work in academic, hospital, scientific, or social sector institutions in Latin America.
- Interested in collaborating, sharing best practices, and strengthening institutional management.
Key facts:
- Voluntary role with financial compensation for participation in 10 virtual meetings between September and December 2025.
- Estimated dedication: 4–6 hours per month.
- Requires a letter of institutional support.
- Closing date for applications: August 15, 2025.
