The Center for Research and Implementation in Palliative Care (CII-CP) of the Institute of Clinical and Health Effectiveness (IECS) is dedicated to research, training and policy development to improve palliative care care, its headquarters are located in the Department of Chronic Diseases.

She has a degree in Sociology and a professor of Secondary, Normal and Special Education in Sociology from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA), and a master's degree in Social Sciences from the National University of General Sarmiento (UNGS) and the Institute of Economic and Social Development (IDES). ).

Contributions to the field of palliative care

Advances in Pediatric Palliative Care

We contribute valuable contributions to improve the quality of life of pediatric patients with advanced cancer and their families.

Specific Studies and Evaluations

We conduct surveys and studies that provide crucial data to design policies and improve palliative care care.

Actions during the Pandemic

In the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, we participate in studies to evaluate the impact on families of children with life-threatening illnesses. In addition, we created specific recommendations to continue care for the pediatric population requiring palliative care, even during the health crisis.

Specialized Training

We translated and adapted materials to train trainers in pediatric palliative care, contributing to optimal and specialized care.
