Objective: The development of a global guideline for person-centred unique health identification (UID).

Summary: The Health Unique Identification (HUID) is a key element for the efficient and effective delivery of health services and public health management and is therefore important to achieve the Sustainable Development Goal. The creation of a global guide for person-centred HUID is considered to help Member States of the World Health Organization (WHO) to integrate various health programs and services, designing systems prepared to exchange and integrate information at the local level. , regional and international. This new phase of the project includes conducting a survey of Latin American countries that are members of the WHO to support the development of the guide and the preparation of its final version.
