Summary: The aim of the project is to analyse all processes of the public health system in Jamaica and Barbados. Subsequently, an information system will be implemented in order to observe and evaluate variations in these processes, as well as changes in the use of time, the tasks of professionals and other relevant aspects of the system.
Additionally, the project has a dual focus: it includes an evaluation of both professionals and patients in relation to the implemented system.
A qualitative evaluation will be carried out focusing on the perception of professionals, especially in primary care, regarding the changes introduced.
