Objective: Support the development and disseminate responsible artificial intelligence (AI) solutions that improve access, care and quality of sexual, reproductive and maternal health services, as well as individual decision-making and public policies, through the creation of a Center of Artificial Intelligence and Health for Latin America and the Caribbean (CLIAS).
Summary: It is proposed: 1) promote research and documentation on the impact of AI on improving access and quality to information and SSRM services, through calls for research projects; 2) form a regional community of practice (CoP) made up of networks, institutions and researchers with the aim of identifying the best solutions and implementation strategies for AI solutions applied to SSRM; 3) actively disseminate and encourage exchange about AI solutions applied to improve SSRM through different sources of information and communication channels and; 4) promote the implementation of public policies based on scalable AI solutions in SSRM.
