Summary: This is a research study in implementation, where the impact of the proposed interventions on the quality of care of people with diabetes or increased risk of developing this condition will be evaluated 6 and 12 months after their implementation in 40 CAPS in Argentina. . The interventions to be evaluated will be: a) early identification of people with prediabetes and diabetes and providing better quality of care at the first level of care. b) Facilitate pregnant women's access to early consultation, timely diagnosis and adequate treatment, through an education program and a comprehensive and multisectoral approach. c) Incorporate innovative strategies that allow strengthening health services at the first level of care for people with diabetes, and thus improve the quality of care provided. They include a diabetes registry to identify and monitor the diabetic population, messaging intervention with SMS reminders to improve attendance and follow-up in CAPS, educational messages to provide information about diabetes and a system integrated into the electronic registry, which will provide reports with indicators of quality of care in the target population.

Objectives: The general objective of this project is to implement a program with a comprehensive approach to improve diabetes prevention in the community, improve the quality of care for adults with diabetes at the first level of care and for pregnant women with diabetes. , both in primary care centers and hospitals, of the Argentine public health system.
