Objective: To evaluate the effect of the RSV-F nanoparticle vaccine in pregnant women in the third trimester in relation to placebo on the incidence of wheezing episodes per unit of time in young children 12/18-36 months of age, for whom previous RSV infection has been documented during the first year of life based on: a. Detection of RSV through RT-PCR during the mother study, or b. RSV seropositivity detected in a serum sample obtained at the time of enrollment in the follow-up study.
