Objective: Integrate a set of epidemiological and macroeconomic parameters, in order to inform policy decisions on the health and economic impacts of alternative control measures and lifting strategies on NFIs (Non-Pharmacological Interventions) as vaccine coverage increases.
Abstract: It is proposed to complement the links between health and economic outcomes as a function of the combination and stringency of specific NPIs (non-pharmacological interventions), as vaccination deployment evolves, adjusting the NPIs (non-pharmacological interventions) by the estimated degree of compliance, based on the main determinants of the latter found in the literature. With the intention of deepening the impact on economic activity by distinguishing sectors (industries) with different contact intensity, in order to assign the indirect effect of restrictions in individual sectors, also taking into account labor informality.
