Women´s preferences as to the way to end the labor in Argentina
This descriptive study sponsored by FIC set out to evaluate the pregnant womens preferences as to the way to end the labor, cesarean section or vaginal delivery. Nulliparus pregnant women were enrolled and interviewed during pregnancy in four hospitals in Buenos Aires, Argentina. These women were monitored until delivery to assess the actual delivery modality. We had recluted 382 women during pregnancy and only one woman got lost during monitoring. The study is experimenting main results analysis.
Evaluate the womens preferences regarding the way to end the labor, these preferencess determinants and the sources of these determinants in public and private hospitals in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Examine the association between the womans preference and the actual way to end the labor.
