The IECS carries out a wide range of research projects in public health, epidemiology, health economics, health technology assessment, and quality, patient safety and clinical management.

These projects focus on needs of the población de Latin America and the Caribbean. They are carried out in collaboration within academic institutions, health organizations y governments of the region.
