Buenos Aires January 28 and 29, 2019 – Erik Cobo, professor at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, promoter of the initiative Biostatistics for non-statisticians and research member of GRBIO, came to the IECS to teach a course on “Clinical Studies Publication Guides: Guidance for a critical reading of studies”, which was attended by specialists from the National Health Secretariat and different scientific societies. 
The activity included a theoretical instance and a critical reading workshop, whose material is free access. He worked on the general principles of the methodological threats of the studies and delved into the CONSORT (Clinical Trials), STROBE (Observational Studies) and TRIPOD (Prognostic Studies) guidelines.
