
Andrea Alcaraz
Andrea Alcaraz is a doctor from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA); specialist in Cardiology (Favaloro University); and master's degree in Clinical Effectiveness (UBA). She received training in economic evaluations and decision making at the University of York, United Kingdom, and in health technology evaluation and economic evaluations at the UBA, an institution where she is currently completing her doctorate in Public Health.
She currently works as coordinator of Health Technology Assessment and as coordinator of fellows of the Department of Health Technology Assessment and Health Economics. She is also a researcher at the Argentine Cochrane Center IECS.
He is also a teacher in the Master's Degree in Clinical Effectiveness at the UBA and in health technology evaluation courses in face-to-face and distance modalities.
It is part of The Professional Society for Health Economics and Outcomes Research (ISPOR) and Health Technology Assessment International (HTAi). He also chairs the Argentine Regional Chapter of ISPOR.
With more than 700 health technology assessment documents indexed in the Center for Reviews and Dissemination of the University of York, United Kingdom, and 20 scientific articles published in international journals indexed in Medline, their works have been under an active public consultation process. with various actors involved during the last two years.
