She holds a PhD in Human Nutrition from the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Cape Town (South Africa) and a Master's degree in Public Health Nutrition and Information Technology from the University of Glasgow (United Kingdom). She has also trained in Evidence-Based Health Research at the Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine and in clinical research through the UNDP/UNFPA/UNICEF/WHO/World Bank Special Program for Research, Development, and Training in Human Reproduction.
She is a professor at the National University of La Matanza and an independent researcher at CONICET (National Council for the Study of Clinical Effectiveness). She teaches in the Master's Program in Clinical Effectiveness (IECS - UBA) and conducts clinical and epidemiological research primarily in maternal and child health. She specializes in randomized clinical trials and systematic reviews and has coordinated food security, nutrition, and child development programs funded by AECI, ECHO, and UNICEF in Asia, Africa, and Latin America.
