Mariana Latorraca

Mariana Latorraca is a doctor who graduated from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA) with a residency in Family Medicine. She complemented her training as a specialist in Health Technology Assessment at the UBA and is a candidate for a Master's degree in Clinical Research at the University Hospital Italiano of Buenos Aires.
Currently, she works as a researcher in the Department of Health Technology Assessment, Economic Evaluations and Health Economics at IECS, where she coordinates the participation of various actors - technology producers, patients and health professionals - in the Health Technology and Economic Assessment (HTA) process, promoting the integration of multiple perspectives in decision-making and in the design of health policies.

She also works as a methodological advisor in the development of Clinical Practice Guidelines at the National Directorate for the Comprehensive Approach to Chronic Non-Communicable Diseases, a department of the Ministry of Health of the Nation, contributing her experience in the development of protocols based on the best scientific evidence.
