Sebastián García Martí graduated as a doctor from the National University of La Plata (UNLP) and later completed a residency in Family Medicine. He has a master's degree in Clinical Effectiveness from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA).
Currently, he is the coordinator of the Department of Health Technology Assessment and Economic Evaluations of the IECS. He is an associate researcher at the National Scientific and Technical Research Council of Argentina (CONICET).
He also works as an assistant in the Economic Evaluations subjects of the Master's Degree in Clinical Effectiveness (UBA). She coordinates the IECS distance learning courses on Economic Evaluations and Health Technology Assessment. And he also works as a researcher at the Cochrane IECS Center.
His areas of interest include the evaluation of health technologies, systematic reviews, economic evaluations, the translation of information for decision makers and research on the implementation of health interventions.
